NordSync Online Seminar #14 brings together two inspiring cultural leaders working in different fields of the arts: one internationally acclaimed artist exploring the intersections of music, technology, visual arts, and social impact, and one dedicated to creating pathways for young people into professional artistic life.


Yury Revich (Austria)

Stradivari Violinist • Composer • Interdisciplinary Creator

Yury Revich is an internationally acclaimed violinist, composer, curator, and artistic entrepreneur. Winner of the ECHO Klassik Award and the International Classical Music Awards Young Artist of the Year, he performs on a 1709 Stradivari violin and has appeared at many of the world’s leading concert halls and festivals.

Beyond his work as a soloist, Revich is known for creating ambitious interdisciplinary projects that combine music, visual arts, film, technology, and social engagement. He has founded several international artistic initiatives and serves as an Honorary Representative for UNICEF Austria.

Carolina Johansson (Sweden)

Head Producer for Children and Youth, Länsmusiken i Kalmar län

Carolina Johansson is a producer and cultural professional specializing in music and performing arts for children and young audiences. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Classical Voice and a Master’s degree in Music Dramatic Performance for and with Children and Young People. Her academic background also includes studies in cultural history and cultural theory.

For more than thirteen years, Carolina has worked with music and performing arts projects aimed at children and young people. She has international experience from cultural work in Rome and currently develops large-scale productions and summer opera projects where young performers are introduced to the world of professional classical performing arts.

Carolina will discuss how young musicians can be introduced to professional artistic environments and how cultural institutions can create meaningful pathways from education to artistic careers.
