Maimu Jõgeda
is an Estonian accordionist, composer, and educator known for her distinctive and expressive style that blends Estonian and Nordic folk traditions. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre and a Master’s in Nordic Folk Music from the Sibelius Academy, a joint program that brought her to Sweden, Denmark, and Norway.

This year, she released her third solo album, Nordic Reflections, featuring original compositions inspired by Nordic folk heritage. Beyond performing as a solo artist and with ensembles like Hostikka and Alterne, she passionately explores interdisciplinary collaboration — merging music with theatre and visual art.
In this seminar, she’ll share insights from her latest projects, including “Musical Walk”, which invites audiences to experience music through movement and the surrounding environment.
