NordSync Forum in Lycksele 2025

NordSync Forum in Lycksele brought together artists and cultural partners from across the Nordic region for two days of performances, workshops, and presentations. The forum focused on how participants had developed interdisciplinary projects through the NordSync network, with concerts showcasing collaborations across music, visual arts, and storytelling. It also included discussions on future plans and cultural cooperation in the Barents region.

We’re proud to present Fredrik Karl Kristian Högberg as the main speaker at the NordSync Forum I Lycksele. Born in 1971 in Vellinge, Sweden, Högberg is an acclaimed composer and producer known for his bold, genre-crossing works. Based in Nyland, Ångermanland, he brings decades of experience in composition and performing arts.

Högberg studied under Professor Jan Sandström at the Piteå School of Music and holds a licentiate degree in performing arts from Luleå University of Technology. Since 2015, he has also served as a composition teacher at the same institution, inspiring new generations of Nordic composers.
