We’re thrilled to announce the second edition of NordSync Lab, taking place 20–23 November in Mosjøen, in collaboration with KammeRana and Vefsn-Ensemblet!
👉 NordSync Lab is our new initiative where ideas developed during NordSync Forums and Online Seminars are transformed into complete stage productions. Each Lab focuses on creativity, experimentation, and collaboration across artistic disciplines.
🎷 This time, the theme is Jazz!
Together with a fantastic team of musicians —
🎻 Etleva Brandt (violin / Vefsn-Ensemble),
🎻 Stepan Frolov (violin / Nordavind Ensemble),
🎻 Iida Alina Poijärvi (cello / KammeRana),
🎻 Bence Tóth (viola / LTU Orkesterakademiet, Sweden),
and 🌟 Darya Katyba (soprano / KammeRana) —
we will recreate and reinterpret the songs of Radka Toneff, one of Norway’s most beloved and iconic jazz singers.
🎤 Radka Toneff (1952–1982) was known for her deeply emotional voice and unique ability to blend jazz, poetry, and sensitivity in a way that touched audiences across generations. Her legendary album Fairytales remains one of Norway’s most celebrated jazz recordings.
